First Reconciliation

The girls in Second Class will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Wednesday 26th March 2014. They are preparing for this special day in school and at home. The girls are very good at singing their songs and saying their prayers. Here are their beautiful pictures of ‘The Lost Sheep’.

PE in Second Class

Second Class enjoyed six weeks of gymnastics in January and February.                           They are doing Dance in PE this month. They are learning a new dance every week. They loved taking part in the school Ceili on La na Gaeilge.

Happy St.Patrick’s Day!

Tá na cailíní go léir ag baint an taitneamh as Seachtain na Gaeilge- ag caint gaeilge, ag canadh amhrain, ag seinm ceoil, ag damhsa, ag imirt cluichi as gaeilge, ag caitheamh an t- léine!  

World Book Day in 5th/6th

Mary Arrigan visits 5th & 6th class!

Mary Arrigan well known Irish author of children’s and teens books visited the girls in 5th & 6th class. Mary told us all about her book ‘The Adventures of Milo’ and she even read to us. We each got a signed copy of the book! We thoroughly enjoyed the visit.     

Pancake Tuesday in 5th/6th!

On Pancake Tuesday the girls in 5th/6th got a lovely surprise when they were treated to some yummy pancakes from the 6th class girls! They were delicious! A big thank you to the Mammy’s who helped make the pancakes!    

Valentines Day Arts & Crafts in 5th/6th

For our Valentine’s Day art and crafts, the girls in 5th/6th have been very busy working on their fabric and fibre projects! Each girl sewed a felt shaped heart using the back stitch, we then stuffed them and added lavender to the inside for a lovely scent! Take a look at the pictures below!   […]
