Sixth Class Graduation 2021

Our fabulous Sixth Class had their Graduation Ceremony on Friday June 18th. We wish them the very best of luck in the future.  

Science Week Day 1 in Rang 6

Scientist Marty Jopson creepy crawled into our classroom showing us headlice, wood lice, house spiders, pond water, hydra and blood to name but a few!     It was a super interesting presentation and kicked off Science Week in style!!

Maths Week!

We did many activites to celebrate Maths Week in our class.  We don’t always love Maths but there are so many fun ways to learn.  We especially loved the Maths Trail prepared by Ms. Dermody.  Thanks for that.

Make Hay While the Sun Shines…………..

Pancakes and Snow!!

As we were putting toppings on our yummy pancakes this morning in 6th class, we looked out the window and saw that snow was falling – and sticking! Double the excitement in one day.    

Sixth Class and Microsoft Dreamspace.

Sixth class had a fantastic day on Tuesday 14th January when they visited St Brendan’s Community School. They took part in a workshop hosted by a team fro Microsoft Dreamspace. They learned how to code and created their own games. It was very enjoyable and they learned a lot.

Chess in 6th
