Senior Infants are busy, busy, busy learning new dances!  We learned three new dances. Skip to my lou, The bird flew into the wood, and The Cuckoo dance.  We love to dance!      

We celebrated World Book Day on the 7th March. We had great fun in Senior Infants. We dressed up as different book characters. Senior Infants really enjoyed The Big Read which took place in the library every Thursday for 6 weeks. Each week we got to hear a new big book being read to us by some of our Mums and Granny’s. A big thanks to everyone who was involved.                  

                  We finally got to go on our Bear Hunt and guess what, we were successful!!!!  We found our bear but it turned out that it was a really friendly bear.  A BIIIIIIIIIIIIIG thank you to our bear for coming to see us in Birr Castle!!  Senior Infants had a brilliant tour!    

Senior Infants took full advantage of the good weather and decided to go on a minibeast hunt.  We were very successful.  There are lots of minibeasts in Mercy Primary School!!
