March 2012 Lá na Gaeilge
Bhain rang a haon an taitneamh as Lá na Gaeilge. Bhí siad ag damhsa, ag canadh, ag imirt cluichí gaelach agus ag comhrá as gaeilge. Bhi siad ag caint sa rang agus amuigh sa chlós.
March 2012 Float your Boat
First class were testing their scientific skills on the theme of Floating and Sinking. They predicted, tested, and observed ensuring that there was fair testing. They recorded their findings and compared their results. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Easter Activities
First class was a hive of activity as the pupils prepared for Easter. The girls decorated Easter Eggs, painted hard boiled eggs and learned all about the story of Easter. There was a great atmosphere in the room and the girls made their own Easter Cards with pop-up Easter Bunnies.

Bright Sparks
Fourth class have been busy learning about Electricity. We made Lighthouses by creating closed circuits. We had great fun experimenting with insulators and conductors of electricity.
Beware of the Lough Neagh Monsters!
In Geography we learned about the Lakes of Ireland. We now know that Lough Neagh is the largest lake in Ireland and Lough Corrib is the largest lake in the Republic of Ireland.

We had great fun in gymnastics making fun shapes, balancing and experimenting with different ways of travelling across the mats and equipment.
