Happy Halloween from Fouth Class!

Fourth Class here looking very scary!! We had great fun dressing up, writing scary stories, learning the history of Halloween and about how Halloween is celebrated in other countries. We enjoyed Halloween art and some traditional Halloween games!

Junior Infants really enjoyed their first dress up day in Mercy Primary School. Everyone looked so scary. We really enjoyed watching Mrs.Murray carve out a pumpkin and loved listening to the story “Winnie at the seaside” she read to us.  Thank you Mrs.Murray. Happy Halloween!           

Halloween is here!

Junior Infants have been so busy preparing for Halloween. We coloured and cut out pumpkins, we made scary ghosts using our handprint and we made witches using paper plates and wool.  We learned poems and songs about Halloween too.

Second Class and the Storyteller

‘Pat the Storyteller’ visited the school recently. Second Class met him. He told them many funny stories. They learned and sang some action songs. Pat showed the class a few tricks. He was brilliant! The girls had great fun.                     

Mini-Movies Workshop.
