St. Brigid’s Day in 1st Class

We learned all about the St Brigid and the story of her cloak and her cross.  We made some lovely St. Brigid’s Day crosses on the 1st  of February  – the feast day of  St. Brigid.

Gymnastics in First Class

We have just finished our five week session of gymnastics and we loved it!! Look at us trying loads of new moves on the bars and on the mats!

Christmas in 4th and 5th Class

Ms. de Chaumont’s Class had a wonderful month of December preparing for and celebrating Christmas. The girls did lots of fun activities including stories, poems, songs, tin whistle tunes and art work. We hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

PE in 4th and 5th

The girls have just completed their rugby and camogie lessons where they learned the basic skills of passing and throwing, catching and striking.              

Halloween Fun in 4th and 5th

Ms. de Chaumont’s class had great fun dressing up for Halloween. There were some very scary costumes! There were a few strange characters playing rugby too!!
