Gardening Experts!

First Class were once again invited to do a little gardening with Mrs Murray and Mrs Hoare in our ever developing secret garden! We got the chance to plant a wide range of beautifully coloured flowers, which we hope to see blossoming in the coming weeks 😊

Junior and Senior Infants built bridges.

Junior and Senior Infants had great fun building bridges to get the farmer’s animals safely to the other side! Excellent ‘Team Work’ by all the girls.  

Cumann na mBunscoil Camogie Final

We are delighted that our camogie team have made it to the Cumann na mBunscoil Final next Monay, May 20th at 2.30 p.m. in Kinnitty GAA pitch. All support would be greatly appreciated.

Write a Book

Best of luck to all the girls in Third Class who took part in the Write a Book Project. They planned, wrote, edited, illustrated and published fantastic stories. Ms. de Chaumont and the girls enjoyed reading all the books. We are so lucky to have such talented authors in our school.

Raffle Winner

Here’s one very happy girl going home today with a fabulous Easter hamper, which she won in our Lenten raffle. This year, Mercy Primary are raising money for Ngara School in Uganda.

Farmyard in your School

We had a visit from the Farmyard in your School team this week – it was lovely and the girls really enjoyed interacting with the farm animals. They learned lots too!

A Day in the Sun!

First class took advantage of the good weather to get creative and use their counting skills, making hopscotches!! Let’s hope for more good weather to keep practicing!
