Maths Week 2016

As it was Maths week this week, we at Mercy Primary  took part in a Maths Trail on Wednesday.  It was a great alternative to learning fractions indoors……we thoroughly enjoyed it!     

5th Class have planted spring bulbs

We have planted daffodils and tulips, we will water them and look forward to them budding and flowering!     We also planted hyacinth bulbs. We hope they will flower for Christmas!

5th Class School Tour

Fifth Class had a fantastic day out recently. We visited the 1916 Exhibition in Collins Barracks. We also had fun at the National Aquatics centre. A great day was had by all!

5th Class Cycle Safety Day

5th class had a great day learning all about Cycle Safety.               

Cycle Safety Talk

4th, 5th and 6th classes had a very informative talk on cycle safety with Mieke Scholte from An Taisce.                        

Seachtain na Gaeilge Concert.

We had a fantastic day at our Seachtain na Gaeilge concert. Each class performed different things – songs, poems, instruments and a play were some of the items we saw. The girls showed a fantastic knowledge of Irish and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.                                             […]
