3rd Class Ladies!!
Third Class went on their school tour to Victorian Escapade in Mullingar and what a brilliant day we had. We learned all about life years ago, both as servants and of ladies of the house. We started off the day as servants; learning what jobs they did and what they wore. We learned how they brought water from the well, washed their clothes, milked cows, brought in eggs from the hen house, made butter and buttermilk and much more. We then became ladies of the house and dressed appropriately. We learned how to walk and dance as ladies; having great fun balancing books on our heads. It really was such an enjoyable day.
