Junior Infant School Tour
On Thursday 15th June, Junior Infants went on their first school tour. We travelled on a big bus to Tearaways Pet Farm and Activity Centre. First we enjoyed the indoor playcentre with it’s wave slides, tunnel slides, crawling tunnels, cargo nets and ball pits. Then we were given a guided tour around the pet farm. We met lots of friendly animals; goats, pigs, ponies, emu, sheep, calves and hens! The pigs Peppa & George were great and Sheila the pig made funny noises! Our favourite animal was the bunny rabbit. It was fantastic to see all the animals and learn a little about them. After a lovely lunch and some little treats, we went outdoors to the climbing frames and enjoyed a ride on the train! We were tired but very happy as we travelled back to school on our bus……and yes The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round!!!
