Hard working scientists
Fifth and sixth class explored forces in science recently, focusing on magnetism and levers. They had great fun making their own magnetic cars and racing them at the end of the lesson. The girls got very creative (and competitive!) with their designs and explored the best way to race the cars using magnets. There was no clear winner, but they all had great fun and created lots of noise with their cheering during the race.
Through exploring how levers worked the girls made their own catapults using lollipop sticks and elastic bands. They had great fun making a mess by firing paper all around the classroom so, we had a competition to see whose catapult would fire the paper furthest.
