6th Class Pottery with Fin O’Hara
We’ve been “pottering” for 6 weeks with Fin and he’s really good and helped us a lot.
On week one we made faces which turned out amazing.
First we made two bowls, keyed them and stuck them together.
Fin has them at his workshop ready to go into the kiln.
The next week we finished off making our faces.
Week three we started making holy water fonts, which were amazing.
The following week we finished them off and they turned out beautiful.
Week five we started the base of a pot that the whole class is making together.
We rolled balls together and made love heart coils, diamond coils and lots more.
Sounds AMAZING doesn’t it?!
On our last week with Fin we made whatever we wanted, some girls made animals, some moneyboxes and others trinket boxes.
Some girls even made teapots!!
We’re waiting for Fin to put them in the kiln and then we can paint them and take them home.
