A busy time in sixth class
We have been so busy in sixth class with so many different activities that we haven’t been able to find the time to share these activities. We learned the rules of chess and had lots of fun trying to beat one another. Athletics also brought out our competitive side and we loved being so active. We held our own Presidential election after learning about the candidates and what the President of Ireland does. We elected Michael D. Higgins as our president, as did the rest of the country. We also had some fun for Halloween with traditional Halloween games and making oobleck – which has the properties of both a liquid and a solid. We’re busy rehearsing for the Christmas concert at the moment, we can’t wait to perform in front of everyone.
