World Book Day in 3rd Class
Third Class celebrated World Book Day on March 7th. The girls
came to school dressed as their favourite book character.
First we had a character parade where the girls told us about
their character and costume. Next we read to the Junior and Senior
Infants. After break we went to the library and listened to Joe reading ‘Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Book?’. We enjoyed it very much.
After lunch we did some written activites about our favourite book, we decorated our classroom with ‘Booky Bunting’ and finally we joined with 4th and 6th class and did a Book Quiz in the hall.
It was a brilliant day!
