Outdoor Classroom Day
The students from Junior Infants to Second Class had a wonderful Outdoor Classroom day on Thursday. They started the day with a delicious breakfast of cereal, croissants and fruit. Then they went outside and played with hula hoops, skipping ropes, balls and ladders. They also drew fantastic chalk pictures on the yard. They had fun at the “beach” with sand and water play and they experimented with bubbles. After lunch the girls did lots of cooperative games. They took part in relay races, hula hoop team games and the parachute games were great fun! We finished the day with a penalty shoot out. It was a really enjoyable day.
