Penguin Project!

In third class we have had great fun learning about penguins. We focused on the Emperor penguin learning where they live, what they eat and how the penguins mind their eggs by sitting on them.

We went into the yard and stood in a huddle to see how the penguins keep warm in the cold Arctic weather. The girls in the centre of the huddle were lovely and warm while the girls on the outside had cold backs!

We had the hard task of minding our own egg for the day, we wrapped it in tissue during class to keep it safe but the hardest task of all was to mind it out in the yard at lunch time! We have a great love for penguins after our project!
