Art activities in First class. January 2013
First class have been learning about 2D shapes in maths and as a follow up activity they did some very effective stain glass windows including all the shapes they learned about.They recycled sweet wrappers to provide all the variety of colour on their shapes.They also did paper weaving which followed on from learning about shape and pattern in the environment.The girls enjoyed doing their clever cats looking out at the cold winter scene. And the curtains on the windows have very interesting patterns on them
