Choir Concert June 21st 2013
On Friday June 21st, Mercy Primary School held their first ever choir concert in Birr Theatre and Arts Centre.
June 21st was National Music Day. The choir concert was a wonderful way to mark this special day. The girls sang a huge array of songs ranging from many eras and many different styles. There were traditional Irish songs, pop songs, songs from the 70s and 80s and songs from musicals. One of the highlights from the concert was a medley of songs from Les Miserables, showing off the range and quality of the girls’ voices.
A lovely evening’s entertainment. Well done to all involved!
