Halloween in Second Class
Second Class enjoyed learning about the history of Halloween in SESE. They compared how their parents / grandparents celebrated Halloween when they were young to how children celebrate it now. The children then found out about El Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican Halloween celebration.
In English Class the children wrote very disgusting Potions and recipes!! They learned and chanted many Halloween poems and they read scary stories.
Spooky pictures were created in Art Class. The girls also made witches cats from clay.
On the day of the holidays the children dressed up in Halloween costumes. They had a great day.
