World Book Day in Second Class
World Book Day was celebrated on March 6th.
The children (and their teacher) arrived at school dressed as their favourite
book character!
First, every girl in Second Class received a book packed with puzzles and magical
mayhem called ‘Fun with The Worst Witch’ by Jill Murphy.
Next, the ‘Queen of Hearts’ arrived to read the children a book called
‘Mad Grandad and the Kleptoes’. It was a great story.
After break, the girls in Fourth Class read a book to the girls in Second Class.
Then the girls got a lovely cup of hot chocolate and marshmallows.
Finally, Second Class made witch’s hats and painted them bright colours.
It was a fantastic day.
