Spring in Senior Infants!

We’ve been very busy in Senior Infants since Spring began in February.

In February, we did lots of art for Valentines Day

..

As we began to see signs of Spring, we created our very own daffodils and tulips and made beautiful rainbows with crepe paper.

World Book Day took place on 6th March and we were very lucky to have a guest reader in to read The Very Hungry Caterpillar to us.  A special thanks to Mrs Murray for organising this for us.  We hope you like our ‘Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and butterflies!

We had a wonderful day for our Lá Glas on 12th March and made St Patrick’s Day hats to celebrate the occasion.  Mrs Kelly & Ms Morrissey played some Irish music for us and we did some Irish dancing in the classroom.  We also had a fantastic time at the outdoor ‘céilí’ in the afternoon with rest of the school!

We had a very special day on Thursday 27th March when our mums came in to help us make flower arrangements for them for Mother’s Day.  A huge thanks to Mrs Fitzgerald for organising this for us.
