May Procession
We held our annual May Procession on Wednesday 7th of May. As it was wet we held it in the school halla for the first time.
We started by singing Alleluia as we gathered and moved on to Let There Be Peace. After that the Junior and Senior Infants brought flowers to Mary’s Altar as we sang The Queen of the May.
Rang 1 presented beautiful pictures and we sang A Mhuire Mháthair. Rang 2 brought prayers to Mary while we sang When Creation was Begun.
We then sang The Bells of the Angelus and Rang 6 led us in a decade of the Rosary.
Rang 3 sang Ave Maria and had beautiful movements with it.
We finished with Go Now in Peace.
It was a lovely ceremony.
