Science Day in Junior Infants
Junior Infants had a very busy week last week. Each afternoon we did exciting experiments
which we got to show to parents on Friday afternoon. Our first experiment was about floating
and sinking. We predicted whether objects would float or sink, investigated by putting things
into a basin of water and then we recorded our results. In our second experiment we investigated
whether things were magnetic or not and in our third experiment we made raisins dance by
putting them into a plastic glass of 7-up. We learned lots of new vocabulary during the week
and we made our very own book of experiments to keep. Many thanks to all the parents who
came to visit us.
