SESE in Third Class
Third Class have been really enjoying learning all about Italy in Geography for the last few weeks! We have learned about the different volcanoes there, what can be found in the city of Rome, how people travel around the canals in Venice and lots more.
We have also been learning about the Romans in History. We learned that the Romans were great scientists and invented things such as concrete, central heating and they also were the first people to invent the calendar.
For art, we looked at the mosaics that the Romans used to make and we made our own mosaic pictures using tiny pieces of coloured paper!
