Science Week in Second Class
Second Class took part in Science Week recently.
The girls did many experiments during this week.
They learned about gravity and how the pull of gravity is different on the earth, on the moon and even on the sun!!!
They explored mixing different liquids together and predicted the results.
Then using these results the children were able to make a lava lamp.
They also explored the following questions :
Is warm air lighter than cold air?
When air is warmed does it take up more or less space?
Can raisins dance?
The girls really enjoyed Science Week.
Science is lots of fun!
