Junior Infant School Tour
On Friday 10th June, Junior Infants went on their first school tour. We travelled on a big yellow bus to Tearaways Pet Farm and Activity Centre. Our visit began with a guided tour around the pet farm. We met lots of friendly animals; goats, pigs, ponies, emu, sheep, calves, hens and a Scottish Highlander! Our Lily met Lily the Lamb!! The pigs Ginger & Babe were great too! It was fantastic to see all the animals and learn a little about them. Next we enjoyed the indoor playcentre with it’s wave slides, tunnel slides, crawling tunnels, cargo nets and ball pits. After a lovely lunch and some little treats, we went outdoors to the climbing frames, sand area and go-cart track. We were tired but very happy as we travelled back to school on our yellow bus……and yes The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round!!!
