Adding the final touches to our Pottery in First Class. May 2013
First class painted their pottery heads and wall planters using a great variety of colours. The girls had fun mixing paints and creating some very vibrant colours. They are all very proud of their creations!
Our Minibeast Hunt in First Class May 2013
First class girls went to Camcor Park on a minibeast hunt. We had a very enjoyable and worthwhile outing. As a follow up activity, we examined many of our findings closely under magnification!!!!!
Our Homes Trail
We had such fun on ‘Our homes trail’. Junior infants helped Senior Infants, and Senior Infants helped Junior Infants. What a great day!!!
Senior Infants visit ‘Our Church’
Today we visited our local St. Brendan’s Parish Church. We were so privileged to have Fr. David to show us around. To him we owe a BIG go raibh mile, mile maith agat! What a great trip!
We love to dance in Senior Infants!
Senior Infants are busy, busy, busy learning new dances! We learned three new dances. Skip to my lou, The bird flew into the wood, and The Cuckoo dance. We love to dance!
Community Games Art Competition
Second class entered the Community Games Art Competition. They produced some excellent entries. Huge congratulations to Kayleigh Corrigan, Leanne Carroll, Aoife Carroll, Hannah Riley and Megan Ward – our lucky medal winners.
St. Valentine’s Day in Second Class
