First class visited Turoe Pet Farm on 13th June 2013.

First class had a wonderful trip to Turoe Pet Farm. The tour guide brought them on a farm trail starting at Pet’s Corner where the girls got to see a variety of rabbits, hens, turkeys and a beautiful peacock. The guide gave them  animal food which they fed to some of the animals on the trail. We also got to hear lots of stories and interesting information about the various animals. At the end of the farm trail the girls spent some time at the outdoor play area. We then went to see the Turoe Stone which was in an enclosure but luckily for us the guide had the key and we got to go inside and examine the stone very closely. Our guide told us all about the history of the Stone. Inflatable city and the indoor activity centre also proved to be lots of fun and we worked up a big appetite there! It was a most enjoyable day.
