5th class are having a ball learning all about the Famine with Miss Carroll.
Need to know anything about Potatoes 
We can tell you it all!
For science Miss Carroll planted potatoes with the girls..and they loved it! Each day it will be our responsibility to water it and see if it grows 
The girls are also reading “under the hawthorn tree” and learning about life in Ireland 
in 1845 during the Famine , the potatoe blight and the workhouses. The girls are enjoying every minute of it
