Second Class
Our new Second Class girls are settling very well into the new school year.
We had a very busy September, working on the theme ‘Myself’.
Here is some of the work we did!
In SESE we learned about our important milestones and made a class timeline. We brought in our old baby clothes and toys and we made a fabulous photostory.We also made an ‘All About Me’ Book and Bag.
The children shared their beautiful creations during Show and Tell.
In Science we learned about the senses.
We did many experiments.
We enjoyed all the activities, especially the taste test!
We tasted salty, sweet, bitter and sour foods.
Our favourite taste was the sweet taste!
In Art, we drew self portraits.
First we used mirrors and looked at our beautiful faces.
Then we drew pictures with oil pastels.
