Sunny Sunflowers

Second Class visited the Playground
Second Class visited the local playground. We had great fun on the swings, slides, climbing frames and roundabouts. PE is so much fun!
We love Reading
Second Class took part in a Reading Challenge in Birr Library recently. They were very busy in the last term reading as many books as they could. Altogether the children read 353 books. Well done Every girl received a certificate. Here is a picture of us receiving our certificates in the library.
Choir Concert June 21st 2013

Our local studies.
We studied change and continuity in some shops and businesses in Birr. We compared old photos with modern photographs. We also learned the history of markets and fairs in Birr, where and when they were held and what may have been sold.
